Our Mission
The Office of Multicultural Student Services at Missouri State University is an area within Multicultural Programs and Student Diversity unit and Student Affairs division that provides an ongoing focus on the importance of a multicultural educational experience. Our office is comprised of the following components: minority student recruitment, minority student retention, multicultural education, multicultural programming, and community outreach/relations.
The mission of the Office of Multicultural Student Services is to support the efforts of the Student Affairs division to meet the diverse needs of the Missouri State student population and community. Our office operates as a support service, primarily designed to assist students from under-represented ethnic groups with their overall academic development. We serve as an advocate for issues affecting our African American, Asian American, Hispanic and Native American students.
