Multicultural Leadership Scholarship Information
The Multicultural Leadership Scholarship covers required (in–state) student fees for the academic year (fall and spring semesters). To be considered, high school seniors must rank in the upper one–half of their class and be admitted to the university. Transfer students must also be admitted and have at least a minimum of 2.75 cumulative grade point average.
All applicants must have demonstrated leadership in multicultural, school or community activities. Historically under–represented minorities at Missouri State -- African-Americans, Asian-Americans, Hispanics, and Native-Americans -- are strongly encouraged to apply.
Selection Criteria
Scholarship recipients are selected primarily on the basis of leadership in the minority community through participation in school & community activities such as:

⇒ Choir/Voice Ensembles
⇒ Community Service Organizations
⇒ Drama/Debate
⇒ Multicultural Organizations
⇒ Newspaper/Yearbook
⇒ Student Government
⇒ Varsity Athletics
